We are, the rehab arm of Watkins & Tasker Veterinary Group, North Somerset, just 20 minutes south of Bristol. We are looking for an experienced Hydrotherapist (preferably with VN background) to join us ASAP. If you are enthusiastic, love animal rehab and want to be part of a really special team then you need to consider this position! We are independent, and locally owned and managed. We have an extended HydroPhysio underwater treadmill, and complementary physiotherapy suite in our purpose designed and built spangly practice in Portishead. There are two other sites within the Group in Nailsea and Yatton and we have everything necessary to work cases to our exacting standards, including digital x-ray, high quality ultrasound, multi-parameter monitoring, capnography, purpose built operating theatres, piped gases, purpose designed dental room with dental xray etc.


The role is for a part-time Hydrotherapist (20hrs +) who ideally has nursing experience. The team are looking for someone who:


  • Has achieved Level 3 Certificate in Hydrotherapy or equivalent
  • Has a background in Veterinary Nursing with evident clinical skills
  • Will hit the ground raring to go and loves a busy and varied caseload
  • Would be committed to driving forward
  • Enjoys being part of a caring team inside and outside of work
  • Likes dealing with bonded clients and can wow new clients with gold standard customer care  and communication every time
  • Is fun and easy going while working hard to get the workload done
  • Can assist with supporting and teaching team members and participating in client education evenings
  • Wants to be actively encouraged  to develop further skills with no set budget on CPD
  • Would jump at the chance of a fulfilling role in well equipped modern forward-thinking practice which has the aim of being the vets of choice for clients, pets and staff
  • Loves cake/is a good baker (optional)
