We are an independent practice looking for a enthusiastic and experienced RVN to join our team. Fuelled by cake (or fruit for the more health conscious) our continually growing team of 10 Vets, 12 VNs and 15 support staff work in three Practices across North Somerset in Portishead, Nailsea and Yatton (all 20-30 minutes south of Bristol). We place a high emphasis on client and patient care, and we have won the nationally contested Veterinary Front of House Awards 2016 and Outstanding status in RCVS Client Service Awards. You will benefit from truly fantastic working environment as we have relocated and purpose-designed two out of the three sites within the last three years. Your love of nursing will be supported by all the usual equipment such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, multi-parameter monitoring, capnography, v-gel and dental x-ray.


The team are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who:


  • Will hit the ground raring to go
  • Loves a busy and varied small animal case load including exotics
  • Enjoys being part of a caring team inside and outside of work
  • Has evidenced competency in undertaking full range of Nurse Clinics
  • Has competent or advanced skills in inpatient care
  • Can communicate with clarity and compassion
  • Likes dealing with bonded clients and can wow new clients with gold standard customer care  everytime
  • Has good knowledge and understanding of our feline friends and bunny buddies to enhance our status as ISFM Gold Standard Cat Friendly Clinic and Silver RWAF Award
  • Has a flexible approach and competent computer skills
  • Enjoys supporting and teaching team members and participating in client education evenings
  • Wants to be actively encouraged  to develop further skills with no set budget on CPD
  • Is fun and easy going while works hard to get the workload done
  • Loves cake/is a good baker (optional)


This is a full time position. Salary will be dependent on sparkle factor alongside a variety of other benefits
